Summer Camp Festival 2022 Rescheduled Australia Tour

Australia’s first touring pride festival will play the same venues with the same headliners in November after it was postponed earlier this year.

L-R top to bottom: Years & Years, Cub Sport, Big Freedia, Ladyhawke

Summer Camp will be a playground of music and art culture, suspending reality and transcending the boundaries of imagination. Along with highlighting the rich tapestry of Australian artists, the festival will also offer an international music offering, across two stages.

Attendees can expect to indulge in music, dance, performance art, culture, installations, and food and beverages.

London’s Years & Years (Olly Alexander) returns to headline the bill of world-class talent. Last year was a big one for Olly, coming off an acclaimed performance in the award-winning hit drama ‘It’s A Sin’ featuring on Lady Gaga’s tenth anniversary edition of her album ‘Born This Way’, duetting with our own Kylie Minogue and performing with Elton John.

Hailing from New Orleans’ hip hop/electronic scene, the CEO of bounce music Big Freedia has a slew of music royalty credits to her name. She’s featured on tracks with Beyonce, Drake, Lizzo, Kesha and more.

Much-loved Aussie duo The Veronicas will devour the stage as only these iconic twin sisters could. This will be their first LGBTQIA+ performance since New York Pride in 2019. . . Leaving no audience member feeling ‘Untouched’.

Global pop powerhouse Cub Sport will dazzle on the main stage. The Brisbane band have released their fourth album, and are yet to take it on tour, until now.

Also joining the festivities will be ARIA Award-winning Ladyhawke, festival staple Kinder, and up-and-coming NZ rapper JessB. They’ll be joined by DJs, drag queens, dancers and performance artists in Sydney and Melbourne.

Stay tuned for further city announcements and surprise acts.

Tickets are on sale now.
