Ahead of the release of her debut album – ‘The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess’, out 22 September – American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan reveals she’ll be heading to Australia for a string of tour dates this November.

It was just last week that Chappell was announced as a support act for Olivia Rodrigo’s US arena dates.

She’ll start in Sydney, before heading to Brisbane for Melt Festival and finishing up in Melbourne, with her electrifying live show on full display.

Chappell Roan has built a cult-like fanbase over the past year, across releases like ‘Red Wine Supernova’, ‘Kaleidoscope’ and last year’s cinematic fan-favourite ‘Casual’. The synth-pop smash breakthrough ‘Pink Pony Club’ set the tone for an evolution into her own version of pop stardom – a small-town rhinestone cowgirl, delivering euphoric, heartfelt bangers. . . A queer icon for a generation.

“After four years in the making comes my 14-song album holding stories of unearthing my true self and fearlessly embracing queerness,” Chappell says.

“With the contrast of my Midwestern upbringing and living in one of the biggest cities in the U.S., ‘The Rise and Fall Of A Midwest Princess’ mirrors the rollercoaster of being the popstar I always wanted to be.”

Through her music, art, style and spirit, Chappell has already earned nods from the likes of Rolling Stone, V Magazine, Teen Vogue and more. This year, she was named Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artist of 2023.

‘The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess’ is out on 22 September.

Tickets to Chappell’s tour are on sale 22 September at 10am.
