Following the success of last year’s Outer Space event, the 2025 version will split in two, presenting a double feature: Outer Space II and Inner Space.
Outer Space II, featuring Worm Girlz, is an all-ages, live music event with a dynamic line-up of diverse acts pushing the boundaries of indie, electronic, and alt-pop. Building on last year’s spirit, Outer Space II invites young people to step into a world of sonic exploration. Worm Girlz are Jade Montgomery, Angie Gale, Isabella Wood-de-Melo, Lauren Rowe, and Nikolai Bray. Support acts for the event are Georgia Rose, Ella Joy and JEMZEL.
Then there’s Inner Space – an introspective, immersive experience designed for creativity and personal connection. . . Starring Babyshakes Dillon (Full Flower Moon Band).
Full Flower Moon Band have bloomed into one of Australia’s fiercest rock exports, known for their searing sound and magnetic live energy. The group is led by Kate ‘Babyshakes’ Dillon, and has built a reputation for electrifying performance.

Inner Space has been curated for all people seeking originality in music, offering a softer, soul-nourishing complement to the high energy of Outer Space II.
Both events aim to celebrate the mission of the original Space Girls Festival: to amplify underrepresented voices and provide opportunities for creative youth to shine, connect and be inspired.
“It feels incredible to share this announcement from our little regional utopia,” Space Girls Festival Founder/Co-Director Cindy Vogels says. “This evolution would not be possible without the powerhouse support of my Co-Director Nicole Harper, our passionate audiences who champion the Space Girls mission, and our generous supporters.”
Outer Space II takes place at Headspace Gympie 26 June. Inner Space takes place at Gympie Music Hall 27 June.
