The Gold Coast Pride Collective’s flagship Fair Day event will return in 2026, at a brand-new home: HOTA, Home Of The Arts.

Gold Coast Pride Collective

This news comes following a transitional year in 2025, where the previous organising body ceased operations and no official Fair Day or Pride March took place. . . And the Gold Coast community came together for a series of Pride Month celebrations.

Under the leadership of a new committee, Gold Coast Pride Collective has been working to reinvigorate and re-establish the region’s signature LGBTQIA+ event.

The free, family-friendly Fair Day will feature a full programme of live entertainment, music, a drag pageant, a pet parade, activities for kids, plus food vendors, business exhibitors and community stalls.

Things will kick off with the annual Pride March.

“We are so incredibly thrilled to announce that we are bringing the Gold Coast Pride Collective Fair Day to HOTA. This amazing location is the perfect backdrop for our fantastic community to come together and celebrate,” Gold Coast Pride Collective President Michael James says.

“The team at HOTA have been amazing at helping co-ordinate this day, it would not have been possible without their support and we hope it will be the first of many years here at this iconic location. We invite all members of the LGBTQIA+ community across the Gold Coast to come down and join us for a great day of celebration. We still have some exciting information to share about the official closing party and much for our Pride month celebrations this June!”

Gold Coast Pride Collective was established lat year as a registered charity, and a key organisation supporting LGBTQIA+ visibility, community connection, and harm minimisation for the community across the region.

Applications are now open for stall holders, performers, and volunteers.
