The show is coming alive in Victoria as part of Pride Month, created by BEAT ENTERTAINMENT and RECKŌNING SOUNDS, and produced by Performing Lines. It's a showcase of Naarm's best and baddest, including cabaret and performance artists, DJs, pop-up performances, impromptu vogueing sessions, and uninhibited Black, Queer beauty and excellence.
Creative mind Samuel Gaskin and his partner Johnny Hamilton are behind 'RECKŌNING: Te Waiata Paihere Wairua', an award-winning, intercultural exploration of Indigeneity and ancestry. Samuel has also released a new single titled, 'The Gift' – channelling the ultimate power of acceptance and pride. . . A fitting message for the month of June.
