Rainbow Kitten Surprise Australia 2026 Tour

US indie charmers Rainbow Kitten Surprise have added to their debut Australian tour early 2026.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise

Already slated to support Ocean Alley on their east-coast dates, the 'It's Called: Freefall', 'Cocaine Jesus' and 'Devil Like Me' hitmakers will headline their own concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney late January, early February.

The last few years have been transformative for the genre-defying group from North Carolina, with lead singer Ela Melo coming out as transgender in 2022, followed by 2023 album 'Love Hate Music Box' – their first studio record in six years.

That record features the Kacey Musgraves collab 'Overtime' as well as 'Superstar', those bangers added to the group's catalogue of hits that also features 'First Class', 'Painkillers', 'All's Well That Ends', 'All That And More', and 'Lady Lie'.

With more than 100 headline dates sold out in the last year – including 3 nights at Red Rocks and shows at Radio City Music Hall and Hollywood Palladium – Rainbow Kitten Surprise are working towards the release of their next album, titled 'Bones' (to be released 8 August), teased last month with new single 'Dang'.

Find out why South Florida Insider describes Rainbow Kitten Surprise's live show as 'raw, unpredictable, and utterly unforgettable', when they tour next summer.

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 12 August.
