'POOF DOOF Direct' will present live-streamed dance music events for the LGBTQIA+ community from 6 June.
The partnership comes at the beginning of World Pride month and is headlined by triple j icon KLP, recording artist Owl Eyes, Jimi The Kween and DJ residents Sveta and Troy Beman.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, 'POOF DOOF Direct' has taken the club online every Saturday, entertaining up to 30,000 viewers from around the world every week.
“We [POOF DOOF] are super proud to announce our new POOF DOOF / Tinder partnership” POOF DOOF CEO Anthony Hocking says.
“It is fantastic to see global brands like Tinder supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in this wild time. The current climate has forced businesses in the nightlife economy to think outside the square and innovate – our 'POOF DOOF Direct' live-stream has been one way in which we have been able to continue to support our artists, DJs and performers as well as entertain our community each and every week.
"We could not continue to provide the live stream to the queer community if it was not for partners like Tinder supporting POOF DOOF and the 'POOF DOOF Direct' live-stream.”
POOF DOOF's ongoing mission of connecting people under the disco ball means the collaboration with Tinder could be the beginning of even stronger connections.
'POOF DOOF Direct''s Pride Month collaboration with Tinder begins on 6 June.
