The duo (P Gardner and Luke Minness) debuted in 2018, and already have a huge seven singles under their belts. They’ve opened for the likes of The Presets, Wafia, San Cisco, Haiku Hands, ALPINE, and Woodes. Plus, they’ve played a number of festivals along the WA coastline.

This new single, ‘Lose Control’, is set to propel them even further.

"Feeling at home in your own environment, taking up space, or feeling safe in your own body are some things that others may take for granted because they have never had to think about it,” P Gardner says of the track.

“Not all of us get to experience a secure sense of feeling comfortable and safe enough to completely let go, lose control, and be ourselves without fear of the external consequences coming from hateful and loveless places."

P’s voice carries the track’s plea for surrender straight to the heart. The pared back verses only last a moment, until the glittery cascades of Luke Minness’ twinkly production for the chorus, and it’s easy to picture a packed dance floor grooving along to ‘Lose Control’.

Priscilla are looking ahead to a few live dates to close off the year.

‘Lose Control’ is out now. Priscilla play Summer Festival on 2 December (The Ice Cream Factory, Perth). They’ll then launch ‘Lose Control’ officially on 11 December at Fremantle Arts Centre (Perth).
