After peaking at #4 on the ARIA Album Charts, 'Glorious Heights' was nominated for Breakthrough Artist Release and Best Female Artist at the 2016 ARIA Awards as well as being nominated for Australian Album Of The Year at the J Awards.

"I'm so excited to revisit this album with you all and celebrate the last ten years of Montaigne music and fandom. There'll be new merch, local support bands, joy, warmth, catharsis, and inclusivity. It's gonna be woke af !!!!"

The August dates will see Montaigne perform in Wollongong, Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Frankston, Melbourne and Castlemaine.

The show will see Montaigne perform 'Glorious Heights' in full live for the first time anywhere, alongside a second set featuring a sprinkling of their beloved tunes from other eras.

"It's been a few years since I did a national tour and I'm really excited to bring my audience together once again to sing, laugh, and cry together, especially for these songs which are especially powerful in a communal setting," shares Montaigne.

"I'm so much more confident onstage now than I was ten years ago and I can't wait to bring an unfiltered, theatrical experience that hopefully inspires folks to feel free and expressive in their own lives."

This celebration comes off the back of a remarkable run.

Since 'Glorious Heights', Montaigne has represented Australia at Eurovision, released music with the legendary David Byrne, and become one of only a handful of Australian musicians nominated for a Grammy – for their work with composer Austin Wintory on the musical video game 'Stray Gods'.

"That quirkiness translates into complete heartfelt honesty and transparency about their feelings," shares Talking Heads' David Byrne about Montaigne, "feelings many of us might be ashamed or afraid to admit to – all set to incredibly infectious tunes."

This August, a decade of devotion meets the album that started it all. Expect tears, euphoria and ten years of songs sung back word for word. It's time to reach glorious heights.
