The singer-songwriter and producer has indie rock in their veins as they explore the fluidity of their emotions, identity, sexuality and gender in anthems inspired by their life and experiences. They have toured with the likes of Spacey Jane, Mallrat, Stella Donnelly and Didirri. Plus, their previous single ‘Babysitter’ was nominated for Best Rock at the Queensland Music Awards this year.

I wrote ‘Do It’ about trying to get into the swing of dating again and the child-like nerves of flirting,” Hallie says. “I was experiencing loneliness while simultaneously wanting to explore my sexuality and make new connections. I find that stage just as exciting as it is scary and confronting and this song is me being honest with how I was feeling and giving myself a push toward exploring those crushes.”

‘Do It’ opens with a tender, evocative guitar melody – before slowly building the intensity and surging recklessly toward its euphoric peak.

The accompanying music video was directed by Hallie and Lili Pedrazzini, aiming to capture the elation and frustration of being on uneven ground with a new crush.

‘Do It’ is out now.
