Held in February, Gaytimes will host more than 40 live acts and DJs over three full days for the first time. And, in 2020, it will relocate to a new forest home; a lush, green campground at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges – just over an hour's drive from Melbourne.
Headlining this year's festival will be Late Nite Tuff Guy, playing one of his iconic sunset sets.
Melbourne-born, LA-based pop artist and producer Banoffee returns after headlining back in 2016 and having since toured with the likes of Charli XCX, King Princess, and Taylor Swift.
Bec Sandridge returns off the back of her debut 'Try + Save Me', while festival favourite Brendan Maclean is also back for a prime time set, fresh from touring in the US for his latest album 'And The Boyfriends'.
Joining them will be Melbourne queer punk rock trio Cable Ties, Wollongong-based bubblegum punk duo Cry Club, Gold Coast dreamy pop five piece Ivey, and more.
For the first time, Gaytimes will feature an outdoor DJ stage featuring house, techno and disco DJs including Jennifer Loveless, Beth Yen, Whiskey Houston, Sophie Forrest, Bertie, and many more.

Gracing the main stage are newcomers such as Eaglemont and The Merindas. Triple J Unearthed High finalist 21-year-old goth electro pop singer Lupa J, singer-songwriters Rachel Maria Cox and Wolfjay join in the fun too.
It will be a weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and self-expression for the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Gaytimes has always been proud to curate a really diverse range of live acts and djs -- from a diverse range of backgrounds and identities, and across a range of genres from electro pop to punk rock and from soul to techno, so there’s always something for everyone. This year, we’re hosting a really exciting mix of up and coming artists and previous festival favourites to create the magical experience we’ve come to be known for.”
“We’re delighted to see some of our favourite acts from previous years like Banoffee, Bec Sandridge and Brendan Maclean returning to the stage, as well as djs like Jennifer Loveless who have now played every single year.”
