Hitting the street on 1 May, the festival will be the ultimate rainbow celebration featuring a fabulous line-up of pop stars, drag queens, musicians and DJs.

The festival has evolved into one of Brisbane’s biggest street parties, supporting local charities and with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Diverse Voices and 2Spirits.

“We are so proud of this fabulous celebration,” Australian Venue Co Area Manager Owen Bevan says. “The Big Gay Event is not only a day for the LGBTQIA+ and wider community to come together and enjoy amazing acts onstage and in The Wickham Hotel, but we raise tens of thousands of dollars for charities that really make a difference.”

Tickets go on sale 17 March.
