But a few songs in, the energy shifted all together when the English performer stopped his set during 'I Love You, Will You Marry Me' to shine the spotlight on a couple standing side-stage.
The couple, Hayley Browning and Grace Jackson, had attended every Party In The Paddock event since its inception, and one half of them had the perfect idea when it came to proposing.

"When I first found out Yungblud was on the line-up for 2019, I knew that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to propose during the song," Hayley tells FROOTY.
"We met at a music festival so it seemed fitting that we become engaged at one too!"
Hayley got in contact with Party In The Paddock, completely unbeknownst to Grace. She says it's been hard to keep things under wraps, especially considering the two are huge fans of Yungblud.
"Dominic [Harrison, real name of Yungblud] was an absolute legend and I'm so lucky to have been able to meet and speak with him about a moment that would become the best day of our lives," Hayley gushes.

"I'll never forget the look on her face as she turns around, with a screaming crowd in front of us, to see me down on one knee asking her to be mine forever.
"It was an incredible moment that we are thankful to share with so many beautiful people… I am forever grateful for Zoe [Davis, Paisley Music & Media], PITP, Vibestown, Yungblud and everyone involved in making it greater than I could have ever imagined! "
Congratulations to Hayley and Grace!
