Robby’s work spans stand-up, television and podcasting, and in 2025, she was named as one of Variety’s 10 Comics To Watch, and one of Deadline’s Comics Who Won 2025. Her debut Netflix stand-up special, ‘Robby Hoffman: Wake Up’ was directed by John Mulaney, who says “no one has owned a stage like her since James Brown”.

The special premiered to critical acclaim in 2025, and she earned an Emmy nomination for her role as Randi in HBO’s ‘Hacks’. Plus, she appeared opposite Michelle Williams in Hulu’s ‘Dying For Sex’, and can be seen in the fifth (and final) ‘Hacks’ season as well as on the HBO series ‘Rooster’ alongside Steve Carell.

Born in Brooklyn, Hoffman has been hailed as “the future of comedy” by The Daily Beast, “an original comedic talent” by The Wall Street Journal, and a “delightful oddball” by The Hollywood Reporter.

She’s currently developing ‘Unentitled’ at HBO – a new series she is writing, executive producing, and set to star in.
