Darlinghurst Ramps Up The Glitter Vibes For Oxtravaganza In 2023

Darlinghurst is turning up the glitter factor in 2023 as Sydney WorldPride and Oxtravaganza 2023 approaches.

Oxtravaganza

Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras is ramped up (just a few notches) as the world heads to the city to celebrate pride in a huge way. Naturally, Darlinghurst is ready to party!

Two-week festival Oxtravaganza operates in and around Darlo, presenting a series of events including an Art Walk, performances, a Big Drag Brunch, late night shopping, a kids zone, storytelling, viewing parties and more.

The Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade returns to Oxford Street after two COVID-induced years at Sydney Cricket Ground. Pride Villages take over various key streets and squares. The whole of Oxford Street closes for a 48-hour street party. The festivities are sure to be a huge drawcard for local, interstate and international visitors.

The Darlinghurst Business Partnership counts 250 businesses around Darlo as members. This includes performances venues, galleries, restaurants, small bars, pubs, clubs and retailers.
