The Central Coast of New South Wales is set to explode in a dazzling kaleidoscope of colours and fabulousness, as the third annual Coastal Twist Festival hits the shore.

It’s a week-long extravaganza of glitter, glamour and groundbreaking entertainment – a tidal wave of LGBTQIA+ talent, both local and national.

Side-splitting NZ drag queen Spankie Jackzon, the winner of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under’ season two, will reign as the fabulous hostess at the unforgettable Love Club Cabaret. Plus, Hollywould Star from the current season will dazzle across the Cabaret, Dance Party, and Fair Day. If that wasn’t enough, things are getting turned up with party powerhouse DJ Charlie Villas plus burlesque sensations Jazida and Danny Goulding, who will titillate and tantalise. Circus sensation Jess Love will also have revellers on the edges of their seats.

Outside of jaw-dropping performances are a number of things like music, art, fashion, and pure entertainment. Kira Puru will bring music like ‘Talk With Me’, currently rocking the charts, as well as Melbourne queer bubblegum punk duo Cry Club, indie electronica artist Iya Yves, and Jacey Fox.

This year’s Coastal Twist Festival mantra is ‘Inclusion Means You’.

“In times as polarising as these, ‘Inclusion Means You’ encapsulates the ethos that everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and welcomed with respect," Festival Creative Director Glitta Supernova says.

Coastal Twist’s heart beats in various Central Coast hubs, offering free and ticketed experiences suitable for all ages and abilities. This year’s event is amping up support for rainbow youth, offering a Youth Dance Party, Youth Variety Show, and a dry event tailored to 18-26 year-olds. There’ll even be a safe space at Fair Day.

Tickets are on sale now.

Coastal Twist Festival is on from 26 September-2 October.
