Over those years, Cheated Hearts has held some of the biggest parties the Brisbane queer community has ever seen, from sets at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Mardi Gras at GoMA. . . To parties in Melbourne! It won Event Of The Year at the Queens Ball Awards, earning its places among some of the most iconic queer events in the country.
But it’s not all about dancing and partying – Cheated Hearts is also a place to connect with the queer community and beyond – and a place where LGBTQIA+ and POC talent is platformed.
For one night only you can do all the dancing, connecting, and loving you can possibly muster – when Cheated Hearts celebrates ten years at Brisbane’s La La Land. Whether you’re a regular at their events or a newbie, it’s guaranteed to be a night to remember.
There’ll be sets from Jane Doe, Logan, Killer Prince and Tough Sook. . . Plus, you can play ‘guess how many hearts are in the jar’, there’s free face painting, and gender-neutral bathrooms.
