For his latest musical stand-up comedy special, Anesti Danelis decided to ask ChatGPT to write his show for him, because honestly, why are we working this hard when AI is right there?
'Artificially Intelligent' asks: who are we in the age of algorithms? Do we shape ourselves, or does the internet shape us? Can AI truly replicate human experience, or does it just flatten culture? In this show, the audience gets to decide whether AI-generated creativity is the future. . . Or absolute trash.
Through sharp, witty, and ridiculously catchy original songs on guitar and piano, Anesti dives into tech dependence, adulting delusion, hookup paranoia, immigrant guilt, his chaotic Greek family, doom-scrolling, internet trolls, straight pride, chatbot meltdowns, and the quiet fear that the algorithm knows him better than he knows himself.
Out of curiosity, and slight desperation, he fed his updated script back into ChatGPT and asked it to generate alternative titles for the show.
