What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I work in retail at Lovisa, I’ve ranged from a casual all the way up to assistant manager, but now I’m settled part-time. Besides that, I’m always planning performances for the future, and also supporting my fellow performers. And eating. Ooft!
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
My partner and I of 17 years try to get some us time. We take our dogs for a walk or we just go to the beach and chill. I am always thinking of my next performances, choosing songs and outfits.
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
In my day-to-day work life, I am the Creative Director at Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras. So basically, I am pulling together the look and feel of a huge, international event that is beloved by an engaged community of people who often have different views on what the festival should be. It’s amazing to be one of the caretakers of an organisation that means so much to so many people. I am constantly thinking about community, colour and how to showcase the best of LGBTQIA+ artists across many events within the festival and there is really something for everyone.
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I am a designer and theatre maker. My work, in close collaboration with some of Australia’s most exciting artists, (including queer theatre outfit Little Ones Theatre) regularly challenges the patriarchy, works towards decolonisation, and advocates for and supports underrepresented minority identities, particularly people of colour and the queer community.
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I’m co-founder and creative partner (with Donna Kramer) at creative communications agency Aruga, based in beautiful West End. In another hat, I am co-founder of production house The Little Red Company, with Queensland’s leading lady of stage, Naomi Price.
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I drink way too much coffee, pat way too many dogs and cats on the street, try and be more of a socially responsible human with each day... and lots of Netflix/time spent goofing around with my partner. I also just bought a fixie so I need to learn how to ride it now that warmer weather is coming.
What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I was lucky enough to be introduced to circus by a local clown at the age of 6 years old, in my hometown of Maple Ridge, BC Canada. I can assure you that my everyday life is not as ’spectacular’ as you would expect from Circus Performer. There are no clown cars, no sawdust and definitely no pet tigers. Although, it’s very safe to say that I have spent close to 3000 hours of my life in a handstand and I’m only 22.
